Wednesdays can be hard, y’all. Here is my benediction for you on this day in the middle of the week. Wherever it finds you, may it give you peace:
“Be true to yourself, help
others, make each day your masterpiece, make friendship a fine art, drink deeply from good books – especially the Bible, build a shelter against a rainy day, give thanks for your blessings and pray for guidance every day.”
-John Wooden
For Wordless Wednesday, this week, I wanted to share this picture I snapped of Warrior Man a few weeks ago. This guy. In a library. Makes my heart skip a beat.
[Tweet “A man with a pile of books is about as endearing as a man holding a baby. “]
So to all you guys out there, be sure you are well read. In this case, Warrior Man and I traversed to the Music Library in the big city to find a whopping pile of books for his research paper on English Baroque. A library ’tis a magical place, even on a Wednesday.
Great picture and insightful post! I’m impressed to read your “About” info, that you’re a homeschool graduate – congrats on that! AND nice to read that a young woman such as yourself is not afraid to list herself as a “woman of God.” Good for you! 🙂
Thanks so much for the encouraging words! I loved being homeschooled–it was such a wonderful way to grow up. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
This post made my heart skip a beat. What a lovely young woman you are!
