It is officially show week.
For the past seven weeks I have been devoting every evening to rehearsals: giving up my suppers, my sanity at times, and my free time. Now, all those sacrifices will be worth it as we perform our last main stage show in the building that has been our theater on campus for the past forty-one years.
In the maelstrom that is my life right now I neglected to post my pictures last week. I will be making up for that by doing a day in my life post later this week, so stay tuned!
I did, however, get the challenge from last week done. Sarah encouraged us all to keep our eyes open and take pictures of letters that occur in nature, and then spell a word with them. Here is mine:
And now, without further ado, here is my eleventh week of taking pictures every day.
My Week in Pictures
I got to see my fella sing his solo in choir for the first time. Just so, so good.
Coffee is one of our daily routines. Yum.
This guy has been my rock these past few months. He has been making delicious meals for me since I don’t have time to cook. I glanced up one day and his shirt matched the kitchen so perfectly I had to snap a shot.
This is what a Music Major’s homework looks like. Oy.
I repotted my orchid into a smaller container, and it has been exploding with growth lately! No flowers yet, but about a dozen new roots!
Captain America keeps watch in our windowsill. Naturally.
I had the opportunity to spend an evening with four gals who are graduating from nursing school this December (one of them happens to be my sweet friend). We had so much fun! I can’t wait to share more photos with you, but until I give them the images I don’t want to share many on the blog. Here is a little sneak peek.
Do you have any pictures from this past week you want to share? Any moments you want to celebrate? I would love to hear about them!
Also, don’t forget to check out Amy, Amalia, Sarah, and Chef William‘s pictures from this past week!
As always, I love this post! And GURL, I understand show week craziness! For some reason I decided that coming right back from my honeymoon and jumping into TWO productions was a sane idea…oops!
Can’t wait to hear how opening was!
Ha ha! You are my brand of crazy, Grady! We just closed the show yesterday, and it was fabulous! It was my last undergrad performance so I feel a little sorrowful about it…alas, alack.
I enjoyed the glimpses into your life. You have one busy life – reading this exhausted me! I was reminded of the technique of finding letters in nature, something I have not done in a very long time. A week in my life? Well…hmmm, maybe.
You should definitely do a day in the life, Alana! I would love to read it. 🙂
Great picture!
Thanks Tayler!
I found out about the year-long blog challenge when I read Amalia’s website. I’m doing the challenge, too! It’s been a great adventure thus far.

It sounds like you packed a lot of activity into one week! Thanks for sharing your life through these great photos!
It was a crazy week! No rest for Theatre Majors. 😉
What interesting pictures of your week. You must have an amazing life.
Thank you, Francene. You are such a sweet lady!
So many sweet glimpses into your life right now. Someday you will really treasure these shots and be so happy that you took them!
Now I just need to figure out how to store all these pictures! I feel as if I am dragging my poor laptop down under the weight!
Loved the pictures!! They represent your week very well. Loved the Captain America! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for reading, Tayrina!
I love this idea of capturing your weekly life through photos! This is so inspiring because I’ve always wanted to do it! It seems like you’re doing an awesome job too. I love the photos of your coffee + your plant. So lovely 🙂 By the way, I’m stopping by from the Peony Proj and am loving your blog! I LOVE finding new ones so i’m totally going to follow along! -Katie
Aw, thanks for the new follow Katie! I love your blog as well. You are just the cutest pregnant gal!
